Military

New England College was founded in 1946 to educate the men and women returning home from service during World War II. Seven decades on, our commitment to serving our nation’s military heroes is unwavering.

We are a Yellow Ribbon Program College and have been designated a Military Friendly® School by G.I. Jobs. NEC provides a comprehensive range of services, including tuition savings, to support active-duty personnel, veterans and their families in attaining their educational and career goals.

Active-duty servicemembers should check with their particular military branch to determine their eligibility for financial assistance under the U.S. Department of Defense’s Tuition Assistance (TA) Program.

Additionally, New England College offers special military tuition rates for its programs:

We offer a special undergraduate tuition rate of $750 per 4-credit course for active-duty servicemembers, including selected Reservists and National Guard members, and their spouses and dependents. That represents a 50% savings on tuition.

A 10% tuition savings is available for veterans, Reservists, Guardsmen and their spouses, as well as for dependents of disabled or deceased veterans.

Additional financial assistance may be available through U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits programs, including:

  • Post-9/11 GI Bill®*
  • Montgomery GI Bill
  • Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP)
  • Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (DEA)
  • National Call to Service Program
Prospective students should visit the VA website or call the federal agency at 888-442-4551 for information on these education and training programs.

If you’re planning to use VA educational assistance benefits while enrolled at New England College, please contact the Office of Veterans Services at:
